Spicks and Speck-tacular
If you only see one stage show loosely based on a comedic music quiz show then this is it!
It’s back! The Spicks and Speck-tacular has played to more than 85,000 fans across this wide and broadly speaking brown land over the last year. As an early Christmas treat, Adam Hills, Alan Brough and Myf Warhurst will be hitting the road one more time!
So if you live in or around Canberra, Wollongong, Toowoomba, Lismore or Tweed Heads, or missed them the first time round in Newcastle, now’s your chance to see them live on stage!
Spicks and Specks has been a runaway hit for the ABC with more than 1.4 million Australians tuning into ABC TV every Wednesday to unleash their inner music nerd.
Alan learnt his music skills working behind the counter of a New Zealand record store. Myf was educated more formally as a music student and informally as the little sister of a family of brothers who were all in bands. Adam thought he knew a thing or two about music until he met these two – he prefers to see himself as a specialist rather than a generalist (his specialty is Adam Ant).
Now the three of them are bringing their stories (both from their past and the Spicks and Specks greenroom) and their skills (from stand up to ivory tinkling) to the stage for the ultimate Spicks and Speck-tacular. Several games from the show have been ramped up for the stage and the whole show rocks along to a live band led by Myf’s big brother Kit Warhurst (Rocket Science; Manic Suede) and rounded out by Stevie Hesketh (Jet) and Gus Agars (The Vandas; The Gin Club).
If you feel the urge to make your festive season a little bit spicker and/or speckier you should book today.
THIS WILL SELL OUT!
